Well designed and properly installed tilt-turn windows can provide you with energy savings of over 30% per year. We offer double and triple insulated glass with Argon gas and with a low E coating. Our standard window has a U-value of 0.28 Btu/hr*sqft*F. That corresponds to an R value of 3.6 (1/U). Our passive house windows have a standard rating of U-value of 0.14 or R 7. Our Argon gas filled, passive house glazing is rated Ug 0.09 or R 11. Currently the only US-based company, Henselstone provides the newest 90mm profiles with triple insulated passive house glazing in hardwood, metal-clad wood, and PVC.
